Healthy Habits for Life® Class Series

 

Healthy Habits for Life is a program designed to help you build lifelong eating and fitness habits. This program helps you make the gradual, permanent changes in your lifestyle that will result in higher energy levels, decreased health risks and the knowledge that you are treating your body the best you can.


Weight management at every age comes from a lifestyle that includes accurate information, good nutrition and regular physical activity. Healthy Habits for Life is a well-rounded program teaching a long-term approach through education, support and guidance.


This balanced, 12-class series is taught by Hudson Hospital & Clinics registered dietitians and certified weight management specialists. Each one-hour class is packed with practical, easy-to-follow information to help you set individual, attainable goals that put you on a course to positive lifestyle changes.


To support the formation of healthier habits, each participant receives:

  • MedGem® Metabolic Measurement (a test that gives health care professionals precise information to help determine nutritional requirements)
  • Computerized analysis and interpretation of food intake
  • Body composition, size and weight measurements
  • Membership to Hudson Hospital & Clinics Fitness Center during entire class series
  • High-quality, interactive class materials
  • Customized meal plan

Schedule:

  • Group Series 1: Twelve classes, meets Wednesdays, 5 to 6 p.m., February 17 through May 12
  • Group Series 2: Twelve classes, meets Wednesdays, 5 to 6 p.m., September 22 through December 8
  • This series is also offered one-on-one at convenient times.

  • Group series participants, $450.
  • One-on-one series participants, $550.
