Dr. Brendel is a board-certified anesthesiologist with a subspecialty in pain medicine. He is a leader in cutting-edge technology for minimally invasive treatments of spine disorders, including disc decompression, radiofrequency lesioning procedures, and spinal cord stimulation. Dr. Brendel is an active member and clinical faculty of ASIPP (American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians) and ISIS (International Spinal Injection Society). He teaches technique courses and educational inservices for other pain interventionalists across the United States and conducts research on acute and chronic pain.
